About the Role

As a Construction Project Engineer at Richard Group, you will be responsible for managing construction projects to ensure timely completion, budget adherence, and quality control. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project activities, supervise project start-up and completion, and maintain project schedules, safety, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project controls, including costs, planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision, and management of personnel.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with all project team members to maintain project schedule, safety, budget, and quality control efforts.
  • Plan and organize quality processes, such as work planning, pre-activity meetings, material management, incident reports, and corrective actions.
  • Ability to write and comprehend RFIs, potential change orders, project schedules, and other project documents.
  • Ability to clearly communicate to home office, Owner, and Subcontractors.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
  • 1-5 years' experience with a hard-bid general contracting company.
  • A thorough understanding of construction materials, means, methods, and building systems.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
  • Excitement about working on any shift, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, as hospital construction occurs at all hours.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug test.
  • A desire to stay and grow with a company that will help mentor, train, and educate you.
