About the Role
The Creative Project Manager plays a crucial role in facilitating the success of both clients and internal teams by overseeing the coordination of creative projects. This position is responsible for managing the production of materials related to marketing, branding, and communication, while closely monitoring budgets and project scopes. The Creative Project Manager ensures that all creative endeavors are executed effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Development: Enhance project systems, processes, workflows, and documentation.
- Scope Management: Develop and manage creative scopes to align with project objectives and client expectations.
- Reporting & Contract Oversight: Prepare progress reports and assist in managing contracts to ensure compliance.
- Resource Allocation: Support project forecasting by managing team workloads and tracking tasks.
- Deadline Management: Monitor projects using management tools, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
- File Management: Organize and maintain project files, ensuring proper documentation of final deliverables.
- Meeting Coordination: Facilitate and track internal and client meetings to advance project goals.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Check-ins: Conduct regular check-ins to assess resources, schedules, and budgets.
- Kickoff Meetings: Organize and lead project kickoff sessions to align all stakeholders on objectives and timelines.
- Business Development: Assist in developing proposals and budgets for new project opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a professional services or consulting environment is essential.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams to meet project goals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with creative processes, including design and content production.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing client relationships.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptable to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
