Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Great American Insurance Company. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Physical Security: Guards premises, property, and/or assigned people against damage, fire, theft, trespassing, and illegal entry. Provides physical security through presence and observation.
  • Executive Transportation and Security: Provides executive transportation/security escorts. Provides ground safety and security on behalf of the Flight Department.
  • Investigations and Reporting: Investigates disturbances and, in the event of an emergency, maintains order and safety of personnel. Reports atypical situations to management.
  • Identification and Access Control: Ensures identification of employees or visitors by monitoring traffic flow, reviewing recording devices, interviewing unfamiliar persons, and validating badges.
  • Emergency Response: Serves as a first responder and maintains Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and First Aid Certifications.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Generally, 0 to 4 years of related experience. Maintains certifications for AED/CPR and First Aid. Maintain a valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record. Obtain and maintain a valid Concealed Carry Firearms License. Required to complete annual firearms qualification.
