Campus Safety and Security Professional

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Campus Safety and Security Professional to join our team. As a member of our campus community, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce laws and regulations, as well as college policies and procedures, to maintain a safe and secure campus environment.
  • Respond to emergency situations, including incidents of violence, theft, and other crimes.
  • Investigate incidents and prepare reports, as needed.
  • Provide information and assistance to students, faculty, and staff, as needed.
  • Collaborate with other campus departments and law enforcement agencies to ensure a coordinated response to campus safety and security issues.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certification through the Ohio Peace Officer Basic Training Commission (OPOTC) or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Valid and current CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
  • Valid and current driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
