At Concentra, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Manager to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Clinical Manager, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and leading our clinical team to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary medical direction and coordination of professional healthcare services in a clinical setting.
  • Lead by example and create an exceptional patient experience.
  • Manage medical treatment activities of the center and coordinate activities with other centers.
  • Mentor back office staff to enhance existing competencies and develop new ones.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
  • Meet with Regional Medical Director and/or Area/Associate Medical Director to discuss quality of patient care and review medical policies.
  • Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, and accreditation.
  • Participate in hiring process for Center Administrators, Therapists, and back-office personnel.
  • Provide budgetary reports to ensure medical responsibility can be met by operations.
  • Sponsor inter-disciplinary collaboration and effectively use a cross-functional team approach to enhance center results.
  • Analyze reports, test findings, and diagnoses to prescribe or administer treatment.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor medical surveillance protocols for client companies.
  • Participate in orientation of new center therapists and facilitate development of a team approach to medical care.
  • Work with Center Therapy Director and therapy team to implement best practice patterns.
  • Interact with outcome assurance to ensure cases are being managed by the medical staff in an efficient and appropriate manner.
  • Review clinical effectiveness, occupational reports, and plans for clinic growth and development in Center Leadership Meetings.
  • Meet with employers to discuss health and safety needs and conduct workplace walk-through and other on-site assessments.
  • Communicate with client representatives upon seeing employer patients for initial injuries and change of status.
  • Participate in development and presentation of educational programs to the client base.
  • Participate in new business development.
  • Actively respond to client needs, requests, concerns, and complaints.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all patients, clients, and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
  • Exceed customer and patient expectations as measured by NPER/NPS/TATs.
  • Ensure accuracy when completing, executing tasks, and performing quality assurance checks.
  • Ensure accurate, concise, timely, and complete documentation of results and paperwork.
  • Provide an excellent, compassionate, and warm patient experience regardless of patient volume.
  • Manage time, prioritize, and multi-task in a busy environment.
  • Adapt to changing business needs such as scheduling and working additional/different hours/shifts when appropriate.
  • Consistently deliver quality care in a busy clinical environment.
  • Take action to assist in other areas and to do what is needed to ensure an excellent patient experience.
  • Seek out opportunities for additional clinical training and self-development to consistently provide quality care.
  • Effectively communicate with all patients, clients, supervisors, and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
  • Listen to and understand internal and external client needs to act and address.
  • Be committed to personal excellence and understand how daily work contributes to center operation.
  • Hold self and others accountable and be willing to assist others to achieve results.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program or passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
  • Current licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice and must maintain the work state nurse practitioner or physician assistant licensure throughout the course of employment.

Job-Related Experience

  • Customarily has at least two or more years of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the state range of $146,822.51 to $181,423.37 annually, depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
