Job DescriptionEllie Mental Health - 238 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Clinic Director to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team of therapists. The Clinic Director will be responsible for the overall performance and operation of the clinic, including hiring and recruiting staff, managing client satisfaction, and meeting fiscal goals.

The Clinic Director will also be responsible for providing training and ongoing developmental support to staff, marketing clinical services, and building community partnerships and referrals. Additionally, the Clinic Director will maintain a reasonable client caseload and provide clinical oversight to the clinics Mental Health Practitioners and Professionals.

The Clinic Director will collaborate with the local Franchise Owner and Ellie Corporate Team to implement all required policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

Hiring, Training, and Staff Management
  • Oversee the hiring process for all therapists at the clinic.
  • Provide all training for clinic new hires, ensuring all required Ellie Mental Health clinical and operational policies and procedures are taught and followed
  • Assess ongoing development and training needs and conduct ongoing training as needed
  • Hold staff compassionately accountable for meeting performance expectations
  • Manage staff performance, including implementing Performance Coaching, Performance Improvement Plans, and termination process as needed
Supervision and Consultation
  • Oversee peer consultation groups to ensure clinical excellence and align with best practices
  • Provide clinical oversight to the clinics Mental Health Practitioners and Professionals, including signing clinical documentation for pre-licensed providers
  • Participate in Clinic Director Peer Consult Group
  • Provide 1:1 consultation with all therapy staff to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation
Client Care
  • Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
Clinic Oversight
  • Collaborate with franchise owner and Ellie Mental Health corporate staff (as needed) to implement strategies for fiscal and clinical efficiency
  • Monitor and manage clinic office schedules and office supplies
  • Provide timely responses to concerns raised by clients, clinicians, or external stakeholders
  • Serve as point of contact for building management-related issues or concerns
Clinic Outreach, Marketing, and Networking
  • Spearhead clinics community outreach and engagement efforts, in collaboration with the franchise owner and consistent with guidance from the Ellie Outreach Team
  • Collaborate with Ellie Marketing Team to promote the clinics online visibility
Organizational Leadership
  • Collaborate with franchise owner and Ellie Corporate Team to implement all required policies and procedures
  • Identify opportunities to improve client care, quality, and effectiveness, and implement changes in collaboration with franchise owner
Required Skills/Abilities

  • Masters Degree or higher education in mental health discipline
  • Independently licensed with a Washington state-issued clinical practice license (e.g., LICSW, LMFT, LMHC)
  • A board-approved supervisor status is preferred
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and executive skill sets
  • Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications
  • Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record systems
Compensation Range - $80k - 120k per year. Compensation will include a base salary, commissions, and bonus potential
