Job Title: Skilled Production Associate/Assembler

Join our team of skilled production associates and assemblers at Morgan Truck Body LLC, a leading manufacturer of truck bodies in North America. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our production team.

About the Role:

The Production Associate/Assembler is responsible for building and assembling a variety of truck bodies and components. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret orders, specifications, blueprints, and instructions to ensure accurate assembly and production.
  • Cut and shape materials using various saws, shears, and cutters.
  • Assemble and fasten parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners.
  • Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Perform setup and maintenance tasks as required to ensure smooth production.
  • Examine finished projects for quality and defects.
  • Perform safety and quality checks to ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Construction experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working on truck bodies.
Work Environment:

This role operates in a manufacturing plant environment. The team member is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The team member may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (may be in confined spaces). The team member is expected to perform repetitive tasks using their hands and have the ability to climb ladders and/or work in high places.
