Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team at Morgan Truck Body LLC, a leading manufacturer of truck bodies in North America. As a welder, you will be responsible for operating a variety of welding equipment, working with aluminum, steel, and galvanneal materials, and ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders, to fabricate and repair truck bodies
  • Work with a variety of materials, including aluminum, steel, and galvanneal, to meet customer specifications
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Collaborate with production team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
  • Participate in training and development programs to improve welding skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in three or more welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and ARC
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or a related field
  • Knowledge of welding safety procedures and protocols
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
