Ambulatory Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Care Unit team at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients pre and post-op on our Ambulatory Care Unit.
- Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
- Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
- Have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required. BSN is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Day Surgery/Pre-Op setting is preferred. Will consider those who have 1 year of Medical/Surgical acute care experience.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
- Current BLS certification is required.
- ACLS and PALS are preferred.
