Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify requirements and develop plans that meet their needs.
Monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM).
Assist in the creation of customer proposals (RFQ, RFP), including competitive pricing and delivery timelines.Engage regularly with supply chain leadership to oversee supplier quality and performance.
Address technical challenges through coordination with engineering teams and the Chief Engineer.
Manage deliverables by establishing plans for risk mitigation, issues, and opportunities; and by tracking baseline plans to evaluate project performance, productivity, and lessons learned.
Provide updates to customers and leadership regarding program status, risks, issues, opportunities, and areas where assistance is required.Standardize, develop, and document processes.
Offer additional support as necessary, including assistance for Correction Action Requests (CARs), subject matter expertise (SME), and lean process enhancements.
Plan and prioritize product development and feature backlog.Create detailed product feature specifications and ensure clarity among relevant teams.
Evaluate value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to align work with product strategy.
Overcome obstacles to achieving sprint/release objectives.
Act as a product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and addressing inquiries.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time, depending on business needs.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which U.S. Citizenship is necessary. An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
5+ years of experience in engineering design projects or activities.
5+ years of experience leading or managing multi-disciplinary engineering project teams.
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience leading or managing multi-disciplinary engineering project teams.
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
Proficiency with relevant project management tools and technologies.
Experience in proposal development and contract negotiations.
In-depth understanding of agile methodologies.
Experience with Export Compliance or International programs.
Experience in developing and tracking program plans, schedules, and budgets for technical projects.
Experience in a production environment.
Experience in product development.
Experience working with government, military, or DoD clients.
Defense Industry Experience.
Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
5+ years of project management experience in an engineering context.
5+ years of experience in engineering project planning or management.
5+ years supporting weapons systems.
5+ years working directly with government clients.
5+ years collaborating across functions and organizations.
Understanding of business value related to features and functions.
Ability to effectively manage conflicting stakeholder needs.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
