Job Summary:The LPN will be responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care in compliance with physician orders. This includes observing and assessing patient condition and care needs, documenting all activities and assessments, and participating in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.
Responsibilities:- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
- Observe and assess patient condition and care needs.
- Document all activities and assessments in a timely manner.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.
- Accept responsibility for personal and professional accountability by complying with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
- Continuing Education as required by state.
- Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
- Home health experience.
The LPN must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English, have visual and hearing acuity, and be able to climb stairs, lift 50 pounds, and travel. The LPN must also be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
