We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teen Center Attendant to join our team at the West YMCA. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive environment for our teenage participants.

Your primary responsibility will be to engage with teens, foster meaningful connections, and facilitate activities that promote socialization, teamwork, and personal growth. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our youth.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior experience working with teenagers is highly desirable.

As a Teen Center Attendant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our young people, while also developing your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with teens, foster positive relationships, and create a welcoming environment
  • Facilitate activities, programs, and events that promote socialization, teamwork, and personal growth
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of our youth
  • Provide support and guidance to teens, as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working with teenagers (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
