Rural Community Health Extension Agent

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Rural Community Health Extension Agent. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and communities in rural areas.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement community-based educational programs focused on human nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and preventive care.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local health organizations, community groups, and businesses to promote health and wellness initiatives.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, community leaders, and other stakeholders to identify and address health disparities in rural areas.
- Provide training and technical assistance to community members, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders on health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
- Develop and implement evaluation plans to assess the effectiveness of health promotion and education programs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in health promotion and education, and apply this knowledge to inform program development and implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public health, health education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in health promotion and education, community outreach, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to travel to rural areas and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience working in rural areas or with rural populations.
- Experience developing and implementing health promotion and education programs.
- Experience working with community-based organizations and stakeholders.
- Experience with program evaluation and research methods.
