Anoka-Ramsey Community College is seeking a part-time nursing faculty member to support nursing education in the Nursing Program lab. This position is a key student support role in the nursing department, providing reinforced teaching, skills verification, and individual and group meetings to help students achieve the learning objectives for their course(s).
Responsibilities:- Implement and evaluate students' supplemental clinical and lab experiences, including selected lab and clinical skills checkoffs.
- Participate in discipline, division, campus, and college matters through service on committees, attendance at regular meetings, and continued professional development.
- Support innovative teaching practices, including active learning and student-centered pedagogies.
- Graduate degree with a major in nursing or a bachelor's degree in nursing and a graduate degree in support of the field of nursing and/or education.
- Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse at the professional level.
- Current unencumbered license as a registered nurse with current registration in Minnesota.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion in meeting the academic needs of non-traditional students.
- Experience with a variety of instructional technology and delivery methods.
- Experience or a strong interest in using contemporary active and student-centered learning techniques.
