Job Overview

The Commercial HVAC Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing a team of experts to ensure the successful completion of HVAC projects within the commercial sector. This role is crucial in managing timelines and aligning with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator will engage with clients to design, propose, and manage the entire project lifecycle. This includes maintaining effective communication with management, clients, and team members. The coordinator will allocate resources, make critical decisions, and monitor project progress to ensure adherence to schedules. Essential duties include:

  • Collaborating with clients to consult, design, and present project estimates
  • Coordinating schedules for crews, materials, and equipment deliveries
  • Overseeing daily job site operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Participating in project meetings and generating Requests for Information (RFIs) and Change Orders
  • Maintaining project budgets and tracking hours to monitor progress
  • Managing the scope and performance of subcontractors
  • Organizing and documenting all project-related correspondence and coordination
  • Effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Refrigeration Contractor's License (preferred)
  • 15+ years of experience in commercial and industrial HVAC (preferred)
  • A high level of motivation, attention to detail, and professionalism
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • The capability to collaborate effectively with clients, office personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in project management software and the Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000, along with profit-sharing incentives.
