Compensation:$95,000 - $120,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:Primary Duties:
- Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
- Provide legal counsel and advice to clients regarding estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
- Represent clients in probate court and during estate administration processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create comprehensive estate plans tailored to clients' needs.
- Stay informed on updates in Connecticut estate law and advise clients accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and client service.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Connecticut State Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trusts and estates law.
- In-depth knowledge of Connecticut estate planning, probate, and trust law.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humor.
- A love for dogs and chocolate is a plus.
