Compensation:

$95,000 - $120,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

  • Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
  • Provide legal counsel and advice to clients regarding estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
  • Represent clients in probate court and during estate administration processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create comprehensive estate plans tailored to clients' needs.
  • Stay informed on updates in Connecticut estate law and advise clients accordingly.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and client service.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Connecticut State Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trusts and estates law.
  • In-depth knowledge of Connecticut estate planning, probate, and trust law.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humor.
  • A love for dogs and chocolate is a plus.
