We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Centinela Hospital Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for supporting administrative functions and working collaboratively with the unit Director and/or Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current federal and/or state regulations.
- Prepare, conduct, and/or oversee department(s) orientation and training of personnel.
- Communicate with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally.
- Assist the Department Director in the daily operations of the unit, directing, supervising, and evaluating personnel.
- Ensure the efficient functions of the department.
- Current and valid California Registered Nurse license.
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of three year of Charge Nurse or equivalent experience required.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certificate preferred.
- Professional Certification within 2 years of hire preferred.
