Job Overview

Centinela Skilled Nursing West seeks a skilled laundry attendant to join their team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

The laundry attendant is responsible for maintaining a continuous flow of linen and resident clothing as needed. This includes ensuring a safe and sanitary working environment, attending meetings and in-services, and reporting problems and needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe and sanitary working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  
• Attending meetings and in-services as required to stay up-to-date with company policies and procedures.
  
• Reporting problems and needs to the supervisor in a timely manner to ensure efficient operation of the laundry service.
  
• Ensuring that all consumer/resident rights are protected, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
  

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

• A basic understanding of the use and maintenance of laundry equipment.
  
• V erbal communication skills, with the ability to read, understand and speak English for business necessity.
  
• An understanding of cleanliness, order, and safety principles.
  
• Prior experience in a Long Term Care environment is preferred.
  

The laundry attendant will receive a competitive salary ($35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience) and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
