Position Title: Travel X-Ray Technologist - Salem, Virginia
Job Overview: We are actively seeking a qualified Travel X-Ray Technologist to fill a vital role in Salem, Virginia. The successful candidate will have a solid background in diagnostic imaging and a comprehensive knowledge of radiological practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform 12-hour shifts as required.
- Prepare patients for imaging examinations.
- Utilize diagnostic imaging apparatus to capture high-quality radiographs.
- Support radiologists and medical professionals in the interpretation and diagnosis of images.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow safety protocols to reduce radiation exposure.
- Deliver empathetic care and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State licensure as mandated by Virginia regulations.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Diagnostic X-Ray Technologist.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel to various assignments as necessary.
