Job Summary

Salem Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team on a 13-week contract basis. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner, following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computerized Tomography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in various assigned tasks related to Imaging technology.
  • Perform diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner, following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computerized Tomography.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including GE and Canon machines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an imaging technology program approved by licensing bodies.
  • Current licensure in radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography.
  • Current licensure in CT by the OBMI or registration in CT by the ARRT.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Working Conditions
  • Shift: Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Hours: 38 hours per week.
  • Work environment: Hospital setting, with exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials.
