We are seeking a highly skilled Grinding Specialist I to join our team at Precision Grinding & Manufacturing Corp. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in tooling and gaging disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Grinding Specialist II and III in operating surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, CNC cylindrical grinders, centerless grinders, jig grinders, and polishing equipment.
- Develop comprehensive print reading and task requirements skills to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Verify and document work performed to maintain high-quality standards.
- Meet or exceed first pass yield requirements and submit accurate data collection reports.
- Coordinate assignments and share information effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain proper care, storage, and use of all tooling and equipment.
- Adhere to department guidelines and standards for good housekeeping and machinery cleanliness.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 0.5 to 2 years of related experience and/or training.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
