Parts Specialist I

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Parts Specialist to provide exceptional counter service to our employees. The ideal candidate will have experience with auto or heavy duty truck parts and be able to assist with inventory control, data entry, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality customer service, including reviewing requisition forms and answering questions about part availability.
- Drive a vehicle to designated locations to purchase or pick up parts.
- Assist with generating invoices and entering vendor receiving documents into the inventory system.
- Perform weekly inventory cycle counts and assist with Wall to Wall inventories.
- Follow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
- 1 year computer experience
- 24-hour availability
- Valid Driver's License with two years driving experience
- 1 year experience with auto or heavy duty truck parts
Physical Requirements:
Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Work Environment:
Work is mostly performed in an office setting, however some requirements occur at storerooms and warehouses in the field which may have uncontrolled temperatures and dirt/dust/damp conditions. Travel to site in a vehicle will occur.
Salary:
$20 - $23 per year
