Overview of the Role

Are you looking for an engaging and multifaceted position that will provide you with invaluable experience in IT Management, a diverse array of responsibilities, and ongoing collaboration with key stakeholders and team members?

The Employment Development Department (EDD) is actively seeking a driven professional to become part of the EDDNext Division. In the capacity of an IT Operations Manager, you will work closely with the California Department of Technology (CDT) Strategic Technology Procurement (STP) to oversee competitive procurement processes for project-specific IT contracts. Your role will also involve assisting in the coordination of procurements for the EDDNext Project within the EDDNext Project Controller Section, which includes establishing proposal evaluation criteria, supervising proposal assessments, and serving as a contract administrator.

This position is located at EDD's headquarters in Sacramento, California, with potential options for remote work in accordance with EDD's telework guidelines. Employees are expected to be available to report to the headquarters as needed, and any travel expenses incurred for office visits will be the responsibility of the employee.
