In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated group of professionals committed to delivering superior support services in healthcare housekeeping, laundry processing, patient transportation, and food service. Our mission is to provide exceptional customer service and achieve outstanding results.

Job Overview:

The Culinary Operations Manager will supervise culinary functions across multiple hospital accounts in the Chicago Metro area. This position, which reports to a Regional Director, requires adaptability to work at various TouchPoint locations based on operational needs. The ideal candidate will be assigned to a single account within a timeframe of 3-6 months. This role typically offers a Monday-Friday schedule with occasional weekend shifts and no late-night hours.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement menus in accordance with company standards
  • Guide kitchen personnel in food preparation while ensuring quality and presentation standards are upheld
  • Educate kitchen staff on safe food handling practices and sanitation
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and workspaces in compliance with health and sanitation regulations
  • Oversee inventory management and control food costs
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in culinary or kitchen management
  • Experience in large-scale foodservice operations
  • Hands-on culinary experience
  • Familiarity with culinary trends and food cost management
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • ServSafe certification is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel within the designated area
