  • Maintain the proper operational condition of equipment, building structure, and premises, adhering to federal regulations and the SOP.
  • Ensure safety and sanitation practices are upheld, adhering to federal, state, and local regulations and the SOP.
  • Implement security practices as defined by the SOP, maintaining a secure work environment.
  • Complete all required reports and paperwork, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervise craft employees at the assigned unit, providing guidance, coaching, and evaluation to ensure excellent performance and adherence to IHOP's policies and procedures.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with two to four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The candidate should be able to speak and read English fluently, interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and write routine reports and correspondence.

Additionally, the candidate should be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, compute rate, ratio, and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.

The ideal candidate will possess common sense, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods, using hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, talking, hearing, and being aware of surroundings, and tasting or smelling.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with specific vision abilities required for close and distance vision.

Work Environment

The work environment for this role includes occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, frequent work near moving mechanical parts, and frequent exposure to caustic chemicals.

The employee may be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and risk of radiation, with a moderate noise level in the work environment.
