Job Summary

Walker Methodist is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Assistant to join our team at Timber Pines. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical health and hygiene needs are met according to their individual care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with medication administration and reminders
• Take accurate vital signs and perform simple wound care dressing and catheter care
• Collaborate with nurses to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements

• Sensitivity to resident needs and ability to build positive relationships
• Availability to work every other weekend
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems
• High-school diploma or equivalent
