Institutional Relationship Manager

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Institutional Relationship Management serves as a key member of the client success division, supporting the institutions distribution channel. This role focuses on deepening relationships and delivering added value by increasing engagement with the full breadth of tools and resources provided by LPL Financial.
Responsibilities- Identify opportunities to increase client satisfaction, retention, and sales growth
- Manage high-profile and complex situations with ease
- Execute the operating governance structure across specific functional partnership pods to deliver contractual obligations and desired business results
- Responsible for ongoing strategic alignment, contractual, and day-to-day business management
- Deliver ongoing KPI and SLA reporting management aligned to the institutional priorities and strategy
- Coordinate and maintain standing governance structures with frequent meetings and connection points at all levels of the firm to ensure alignment, assess progress, and drive results
- Implement the institutional client interaction model, including coordination, presentation material creation, objective setting, and reporting
- Lead efforts supporting day-to-day operational and solutions management
- Examine trends, develop insights, and create solutions to better support advisors
- Partner with conference services to deliver exceptional education and conference events
- 4-7+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in a sales and/or client service/relationship management capacity
- Experience with Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, and Tableau
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Expert consensus builder who drives change across initiatives within and outside direct accountability and evaluates solutions to the most complex business challenges
- Prior experience managing relationships and projects in the institutional space or business-to-business space
- Extensive knowledge of the client segment, organization, product, industry, and end customer (financial institutions)
- Demonstrated knowledge of the financial service industry, compliance, products, and services
- Ability to identify and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
