About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Geriatric Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our healthcare provider, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our community's seniors.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for geriatric and behavioral health to work in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating the mental health needs of our geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
  • Monitor and adjust medication regimens to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options.
  • Participate in team meetings and case conferences to enhance patient care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in psychiatric or geriatric care as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and patient-centered care environment.
