We are seeking a highly skilled Psy chiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. This role will involve delivering mental health services in a unique outpatient program for children, adolescents, young adults, and their parents.

The successful candidate will have a Master of Science or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited institution, be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and have experience in the mental health treatment of children and adolescents. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Description

This is a hybrid role, allowing for flexibility in working remotely from home while also requiring occasional onsite presence in our Warwick, RI office. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for diagnostic evaluations, collaboration with psychologists and coaches, ongoing treatment, education of patients and families, and maintaining accurate records. They will also participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master of Science or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in Rhode Island and Massachusetts
  • Experience in the mental health treatment of children and adolescents preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
