We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Lifepoint Health. This is a full-time position in Warwick, Rhode Island, where you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality therapy sessions to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
- Communicate patient progress and coordinate with other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of patient care
- Instruct patients' families or nursing staff on follow-up programs
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from ASHA
- At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations
- Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in Rhode Island
- A competitive salary range of $38-$48 per hour
