We are a leading pediatric care provider in Northern Virginia, offering comprehensive and accessible care to families at five practice locations.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join our team. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and escort patients to the exam room, gathering patient history and measuring vitals.
  • Process patients during check-in and check-out, collecting insurance and registration information as needed.
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked with medical supplies, maintaining instruments and preparing sterilization as required.
  • Maintain patient files, records, and other information in a confidential manner.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with patients and family, demonstrating a caring attitude.
  • Support business operations through administrative projects and tasks at the practice business office.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Enrollment in a healthcare degree program preferred.
  • Gap Year students preparing for Medical, PA, or NP school are encouraged to apply.
  • Adherence to Capital Area Pediatrics immunization and testing requirements.
  • Clinical experience is preferred but not required.
