Job Title: Medical Assistant - Pediatrics

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our pediatric team at Quadrant Inc. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians and physician assistants in exam rooms, escort patients, and measure vital signs.
  • Document patient information, take telephone messages, and provide feedback to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain exam rooms, stock medical supplies, and ensure all necessary reports and lab results are filed in patient charts.
  • Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians and physician assistants.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the clinical coordinator or practice administrator.
Requirements:
  • Certified or registered (CCMA or RMA) medical assistant certification.
  • 6 months+ of direct patient care experience, including administering injections (immunizations preferred).
  • Previous experience taking vitals and working with medical records.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, such as Athena, and strong computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Pediatric or Family practice experience highly preferred.
  • Valid transportation preferred in float role.
