Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Healthcare Express. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with escorting them to exam rooms and obtaining vital signs, including temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, and more.
  • Document patient histories and chief complaints in our system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including positioning, draping, and disinfecting.
  • Assist with exams and perform procedures such as EKGs and wound care, under the supervision of our healthcare providers.
  • Conduct ear lavages and remove sutures or staples from superficial wounds, as needed.
  • Apply basic dressings and collect specimens for lab work, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Draw blood and obtain other specimens as ordered by our healthcare providers, following proper protocols and procedures.
  • Run various lab tests, including CBC, CMP, BMP, and more, as required.
  • Apply splints and remain flexible for cross-training, as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support our mission and values, ensuring exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
