As an employee-owned organization, Shared Medical Services is recognized as a reliable and esteemed provider of specialized medical imaging solutions.
We are in search of a dependable and skilled Class A CDL Driver to embody the SMS Difference. Previous experience in the medical sector is not required. Our drivers are responsible for relocating 53' spread axle trailers (which house our mobile imaging equipment) to various medical facilities along a designated route.
Expected Work Schedule:
- 5-6 days per week, Monday through Saturday
- 2-3 overnight stays weekly
- Guaranteed weekly hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport the trailer/mobile equipment to medical facilities along a designated route, adhering to DOT regulations
- Perform set-up and tear down of the trailer at each location
- Assist in patient care by escorting individuals from the medical facility to the mobile unit, ensuring their comfort, safety, and confidentiality (training will be provided)
- Complete necessary administrative tasks, including time/activity reports, billing, drivers' logs, and maintenance or inspection forms
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, urine drug screening, and physical examination
- Must be at least 21 years old
