Job Summary

The Staff Patient Service Representative is an integral part of the healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the healthcare team in a professional manner, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Provide clinical services, including greeting patients, answering phone calls, and registering patients.
  • Coordinate patient care, verify insurance benefits, and collect payments.
  • Perform various secretarial duties, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in maintaining a safe and secure environment of care, adhering to OSHA standards and protocols.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of practice experience in a clinic office setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, protocols, and office equipment.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with community agency personnel and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spanish speaking and writing skills.
