Key Responsibilities- Assist in the maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as spills and equipment failures, to minimize downtime and ensure resident and staff safety.
- Assist in the completion of work orders and perform tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are in good working order and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
- Participate in on-call duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled.
- High school diploma or equivalency plus three (3) years experience in building maintenance required.
- Ability to get a Special Low Pressure boiler license.
- HVAC experience required.
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, and building safety regulations.
- Skills in prioritizing and organizing work requests.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
- Required to supply a set of basic hand tools to perform job duties.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional to frequent basis.
