We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at LUXOTTICA OF AMERICA INC. This individual will be responsible for providing technical support to our production team, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
- Manage workflow and scheduling to ensure jobs are completed on time and to the required quality standards
- Collaborate with production supervisors to identify areas for process improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Provide technical support and training to new hires and existing employees
- Maintain accurate records and issue timely reports on equipment operations and performance
- High school education or equivalent required
- 3+ years of experience in a related field, with a proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment both electronically and mechanically
- Knowledge of electronic test equipment, such as multimeters and amp meters, preferred
- Basic understanding of PLC operation and ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams preferred
