As a Commercial Vehicle Operator, you will earn a competitive starting wage of $17.68/hr. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 403(b) retirement plan with company match, paid holidays, and paid sick and vacation time for full-time employees.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TRANSPORT SPECIALIST

In this position, you will assist adults with developmental disabilities during their transportation to various programs. This includes helping them board and disembark from the vehicle and providing support with their medical equipment, such as walkers and wheelchairs. Through this role, you will gain insights into the unique abilities, personalities, and interests of the individuals you support. It is gratifying to witness the progress of those we serve as they achieve their personal goals.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR CDL DRIVER

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience operating vehicles with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 26,000 lbs. or more required.
  • Possession of a valid New York State Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Ability to successfully complete a background and reference check.
  • Capability to physically assist individuals who utilize wheelchairs and/or walkers.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, with hours varying based on program requirements. No weekend shifts.
