POSITION SUMMARY:

The Guest Services Cashier is responsible for maintaining a vibrant atmosphere, seating patrons in the dining area, and managing transactions as a cashier. This role ensures a seamless flow of seating and guest transactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Skilled in operating cash registers and point-of-sale systems for all dining outlets.
  2. Maintains expected service standards, ensuring accurate handling of revenue and adherence to internal controls during system outages.
  3. Effectively communicates in a clear, professional, and friendly manner with all guests and staff.
  4. Accurately manages and delivers complimentary items to guests.
  5. Prioritizes service for guests based on tier levels during cash and seating transactions.
  6. Ensures tables are clean, properly set, and ready for guests before seating.
  7. Creates a positive impression when greeting guests and during their departure.
  8. Presents menus to customers and promotes any specials or featured items with engaging language.
  9. Engages guests in conversation during seating and transaction processes.
  10. Addresses and resolves any inquiries or concerns from guests.
  11. Acts as a role model for fellow employees, consistently representing the values of Caesars Entertainment.
  12. Complies with regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
CASHIER DUTIES:
  1. Maintains a clean and organized work area and assists in keeping the dining room tidy.
  2. Follows all safety protocols and regulations.
  3. Ensures all assigned areas are clean and free of clutter.
  4. Maintains proper food levels to guarantee high-quality products for all guests.
  5. Exhibits a positive attitude at all times, greeting everyone with a smile and the department's signature greeting.
  6. Performs all related job duties in accordance with departmental and company standards as outlined by management.
HOST RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Effectively manages guest reservations and bookings.
  2. Oversees the flow of business and seats the restaurant in a systematic manner, regardless of volume.
  3. Collaborates closely with servers, bussers, and management to ensure quality food, dining experiences, and guest satisfaction.
  4. Ensures accurate setup for accommodating large groups or parties.
  5. Maintains cleanliness and organization in the designated work area, assisting other staff as necessary.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Performs other duties as assigned.
  2. Accurately gathers essential information from guests to relay to management.
  3. Upholds the standards of dining room ambiance and atmosphere.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. Preferred: Three months of prior experience as a Host/Cashier.
  2. Preferred: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
