POSITION SUMMARY:

The Host/Cashier is responsible for maintaining a vibrant atmosphere, seating patrons in the dining area, and managing transactions as a cashier. This role ensures the seamless flow of guest seating and transaction processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Skilled in operating cash registers and point-of-sale systems across all dining outlets.
  2. Maintains high service standards, ensuring accurate handling of revenue and adherence to internal controls during system downtimes.
  3. Communicates effectively and professionally with guests and team members.
  4. Manages and delivers complimentary services to guests accurately.
  5. Prioritizes service for guests based on their tier level during transactions.
  6. Ensures tables are clean, properly arranged, and welcoming for guests.
  7. Creates a positive impression when greeting guests and during their departure.
  8. Presents menus to customers and promotes any specials or chef's features enthusiastically.
  9. Engages guests in conversation during seating and transaction processes.
  10. Addresses and resolves any inquiries or concerns from guests.
  11. Acts as a role model for fellow employees, embodying the values of Caesars Entertainment.
  12. Complies with all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
CASHIER DUTIES:
  1. Maintains a clean and organized workspace and assists in keeping the dining area tidy.
  2. Follows all safety protocols and regulations.
  3. Ensures all assigned areas are clean and free from clutter.
  4. Maintains appropriate food levels to guarantee high-quality service as per company standards.
  5. Exhibits a consistently positive demeanor and greets everyone warmly.
  6. Performs all job functions in line with departmental and company policies as directed by management.
HOST RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Effectively manages guest reservations and bookings.
  2. Controls the flow of guests and seats the dining area in a systematic manner.
  3. Collaborates closely with servers, bussers, and management to ensure quality dining experiences and guest satisfaction.
  4. Prepares for accommodating large groups or events accurately.
  5. Maintains cleanliness and organization in the host area and assists as needed.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Performs other assigned duties as necessary.
  2. Accurately gathers essential information from guests for management communication.
  3. Maintains the ambiance and atmosphere of the dining area.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. Preferred: Three months of experience as a Host/Cashier.
  2. Preferred: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
