Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to oversee the entire procurement process, develop supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure that all materials are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for materials, components, and services.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, both domestic and international.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers to diversify the supply base and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including production, engineering, and logistics, to understand material needs and project timelines.
  • Track and analyze market trends to anticipate changes in supply, cost, and availability.
  • Manage inventory levels to balance cost savings and production needs.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, including order tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and government regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the electronics or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex data and make strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and ERP systems. Experience with MISys Manufacturing MRP software is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
