Procurement Specialist

At CI – The Manufacturing Career HUB, we are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement process, developing strong relationships with suppliers, and negotiating contracts to ensure the best possible terms.

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, both domestic and international
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and favorable terms
• Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery requirements
• Identify and qualify new suppliers to diversify the supply base and mitigate risks
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to understand material needs and project timelines
• Track and analyze market trends to anticipate changes in supply, cost, and availability
• Manage inventory levels to balance cost savings and production needs
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, including order tracking and reporting
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and government regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the electronics or manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex data and make strategic decisions
• Proficiency in using procurement software and ERP systems
