Project Manager Job Description

BAHA Construction is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our construction projects from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and evaluate contracts for potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with the Estimator to review and discuss construction documents, ensuring that all parties are on the same page.
  • Assist in the selection of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that they meet our high standards.
  • Prepare and issue subcontracts and purchase orders, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that all milestones are met and deadlines are exceeded.
  • Handle all formal correspondence with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring that communication is clear and effective.
  • Manage project finances, ensuring that budgets are met and expenses are properly tracked and reported.
  • Review and approve payment applications from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that all payments are accurate and timely.
  • Lead weekly meetings, take minutes, and distribute them to all stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed and on track.
  • Prepare and submit pay applications, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Develop modification proposals, estimate costs, and submit them for approval, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and approved.
  • Direct and ensure completion of closeout activities, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.
  • Portray a positive attitude and demonstrate professional customer service skills, ensuring that all stakeholders are satisfied and impressed with our service.
  • Analyze and resolve project issues, ensuring that all problems are addressed and resolved in a timely and effective manner.
