Job Summary

The Providence RN Clinical Supervisor is a key member of the clinic leadership team, responsible for overseeing clinical staff performance, coaching, mentoring, and developing clinical best practices. This role is an integral part of upholding the standards of clinical practice and bringing the professional nursing perspective to the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee clinical staff performance and provide coaching and mentoring to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical best practices to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the clinic leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and training to clinical staff on new procedures and technologies.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience.
  • Associate Nursing degree with a minimum of 3 years recent RN experience.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • Completion of an ONS approved Chemotherapy course, Maintain certification - Cancer Center Infusion East, Infusion, Transfusion Chemotherapy, Outpatient Transfusion upon hire.
  • Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Maintain certification - Lactation Postpartum, Postpartum Care Center upon hire.
  • 3 years - RN experience managing complex patients, or successful completion of RN Ambulatory Residency program.
  • Experience providing clinical education to clinical support staff within an outpatient/ambulatory care/medical group environment, including medical assistant, nurses and related clinical positions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an ambulatory setting.
  • 3 years - Demonstrated experience with providing progressive leadership, clinical staff education, competency development and evaluation, staff training and performance evaluation.
  • 3 years - Experience providing patient education.
