Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pediatrics department. As a Nurse at Salem Health, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care and collaborating with a team of experienced professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to infants, children, and post-partum patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, teach, intervene, and evaluate.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient and family.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
  • Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advances in pediatric nursing.
Requirements
  • Current unencumbered licensure to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon.
  • BLS issued by the American Heart Association required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 12 months of hire.
  • Completed the S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
