About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at North American Dental Group. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering best-in-class treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting, operatory setup and cleanup, and patient education.
  • Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under the doctor's direction, and ensure completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
  • Review the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
  • Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, maintain chain of asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
  • Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.
Requirements
  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
  • Radiography/X-RAY certification for respective state.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
