Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hygiene Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and support to our dental hygienists.
Responsibilities:- Assist dental hygienists in preparing rooms, seating patients, and documenting patient visits
- Record and review patient health history, make chart entries, and complete necessary forms and signatures
- Educate patients on treatment plans and maintain their oral health
- Work in a fast-paced environment, possessing excellent interpersonal skills and establishing positive relationships with team members and patients
- Communicate professionally, both orally and in writing, with a service-oriented approach
- Dental Assisting Certification, state-required education, or prior on-the-job training
- One or more years of experience preferred
- Radiography/X-RAY certification for respective state
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients
