Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our dental hygienists and dentists in providing top-notch patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing patients for treatment, taking X-rays, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for treatment by reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and explaining treatment plans
- Assist dental hygienists and dentists with procedures, such as taking X-rays and mixing materials
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in dental care
- Dental Assisting Certification or equivalent experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
