Job Description

Pacific Lifestyle Homes Inc is seeking a highly skilled Regional Site Cost Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Purchasing and Operations department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our Regional Purchasing Manager, focusing on site cost processing and reporting for all PLH and GCH divisions.

Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Regional Purchasing Manager with scheduling, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Site Cost Processing: Process site cost extras for excavation, foundation, and flatwork. Manage costs against budgets, ensuring accurate coding and allocation of overages.
  • Cost Management: Analyze costs and identify savings opportunities.
  • Reporting: Develop and generate detailed reports on site costs and budget status for management.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with Purchasing and Operations departments and liaise with vendors for cost information.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for cost management and reporting.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma with relevant administrative work experience; Associate's degree preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including purchasing and estimating duties; database administrative experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, Outlook, as well as BuildPro and Newstar.
  • Experience in the building industry is preferred.
