The Cosmetics Sales Specialist will be accountable for promoting specific products and delivering outstanding customer service to our patrons, while collaborating with terminal management to enhance sales performance.

Cosmetics Sales Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Welcome clients and engage them to identify their needs and preferences.
  • Assist clients in locating products based on their needs and suggest additional or alternative items.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service, leading to increased productivity and achievement of sales targets.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to the Counter Manager to maintain adequate stock.
  • Exhibit knowledge of make-up, skincare, and fragrances, while explaining the benefits and results to clients.
  • Propose and demonstrate tailored product offerings in fragrance, make-up, and skincare.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of testers, displays, and accessories, reporting any issues to the appropriate management team member.
  • Uphold security standards within the store to ensure the safety of clients, colleagues, and merchandise.
  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of promotional displays.
  • Assist in maintaining stock levels of brand merchandise.
  • Perform light cleaning of shelves, counters, and tables.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Education & Experience:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and sales experience with cosmetics, skincare, and fragrances.
  • At least one (1) year of prior customer service or sales experience in a luxury setting (preferred).
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (including active listening, verbal communication, and assertiveness).
  • Bi-lingual skills are a plus (Arabic, Chinese, French, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish).
Requirements:
  • Travel is required for brand training sessions conducted by vendors and International Shoppes.
  • Must be flexible with scheduling; evening, weekend, and holiday availability is MANDATORY.
  • Must present a professional appearance while interacting with clients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Adaptable to change and eager to learn.
  • Participation in semi-annual inventory is required.
  • Must pass airport security background check.
